There is a quiet, resilient beauty in Minnesota that reveals itself not in grand gestures, but in subtle moments—the mist lifting from a creek after a storm, the crisp geometry of frost on the prairie, the deep silence of a snow-covered forest. As a lifelong Minnesotan, I've dedicated my craft to finding and capturing these fleeting scenes.
This gallery is more than a collection of photographs; it's an invitation to look closer, to discover the extraordinary in the ordinary, and to see the soul of the North Star State in a new light.

Many of the photos I capture are during hiking or camping trips and I often carry two cameras, one for video and one for my stills. I post these videos on YouTube as well as on my website where I show the trails and talk through what I like about the photos or where I could have done better.
It’s a creative outlet for me and I’ve enjoyed learning the video aspect of YouTube, which is way more in-depth than I anticipated. I also have a separate gallery that shows many of the images captured during that specific trip.
