Frozen Rivers to Sunlit Leaves: A Local Hike and Thinking Forward to Spring

Cold Walk but Warm Thoughts

Despite the chill of a Minnesota winter, the recent burst of sunlight was too inviting to resist. I headed out to a beautiful local park, camera in hand, to try and capture the stark beauty of the season. In my latest YouTube video, I share my experience of this winter walk, from the challenges of photographing in 15 Fahrenheit temperatures to the enjoyment of finding nice compositions in familiar surroundings.

Join me as I explore the park, highlighting my favorite shots of sunlit leaves, frozen rivers, and the textures of winter trees. I also shoot a few from my long lens (the beast) and discuss briefly some upcoming dates of our first camping trips of the year.

If you're a fellow photography enthusiast or simply enjoy the tranquility of a winter walk, I hope you'll find inspiration in this video or at least a bit interesting!
